Dear President of USA Mr. Barack Obama

When Indonesia become an indepedent country, they didn't include to its territory- West Papua, because of the oposition to such step from the father of Indonesian indepedence Mr. Muhamad Hutta. He clearly seen such step as the neocolonial policy on the side of Javanese elite. But when generals grew stronger in Indonesia they took over West Papua in 1962, and forced in 1969 1500 West Papuans to vote incorporation of West Papua into Indonesia. This act of "free choice" know actually now as the act of no choice, supposedly cemented that act.

Even now with limited autonomy for Papuans in West Papua- strongly oposed by Javanese elite- thus being not effective and providing little benefit for local Papuans with-and with Javanese transmigrants! Those Papuans who get benefits and get jobs, are called by Javanese, monkeys which come down only now from trees (see. the awpa publications)
Now this transmigration policy hardly tests the Indonesian policy of Pancasila. Because since transmigration began, only mosques were build in this predominantly christian province. No christian churches, no hindu temples, no budhist temples. Which equals also to creeping isalmisation of this predominantly christian province.

Other things: When Papua-New Guinea, other half of this one big island become indepedent in 1975 it had barely 2 million people now in 2010 it has 7 million people. (Note Papua- New Guinea, become indepedent in the same year when Indonesia took over East Timor). Now while there was population grow of Papuans in Papua- New Guinea, there was stagnat or zero population grow among Papuans in West Papua (accordind Indpedence leadears Indonesian army killed 300 000 Papuans in West Papua). Papuans in West Papua comprise 1.5 million 48% are mainly traqnsmigrant javanese moslims, in this predominantly christian province.

So together with enforced migrants West Papua has 2.5 million people in geographically the same size as Papua- New Gunea.

Indonesia claimed West Papua on pretence that because Indonesia was Dutch colony and West Papua was also Dutch colony, therefore they have right to own West Papua.
Nothing equal to Javanese neocolonialism then this kind of argument against which warned Muhamad Hutta.

In fact if we take decolonisation in its face value, thus there are some precedens in Africa during colonial era and after decolonisation. Current indepedent state of Cameroon in Africa, was during colonial era divaded into British Cameroon and was part of British Colonial Africa and Ffrench Cameroon which was part of French Colonial Africa.

After decolonisation and indepedence British Cameroon didn't become part of Nigeria, just because they have common borders, and just because they were both British colonies.Nor French Cameroon become part of Chad or Central African Republic, just because all of them have common borders and all of them were french colonies. NO after indepedence British Cameroon and French Cameroon were united into one common state of Cameroon! So if the decolonisation in this part of the world happened properly and correctly;

both West Papua and Papua- New Guinea will become one indepedent state of Papuan Federal Republic.
following the precedens of Cameroon.

Insteas we have situation where one half of the island is an indepedent state in constant fear of Indonesian militarism and other half of the island is Indonesian colony.

When Australian people supported indepedence of East Timor, it was because East Timorese supported Australian soldiers against Japanese fascist army. But so did the Papuans from the Kokoda trail, who are the same Papuans as their etnich brethern suffering under Indonesian colonialism.

Yours sincerely
