Maria Wenda Give talks at Amnesty International Aylesbury Human Right Situation in West Papua.

Thank you very much behalf of Peoples of West Papua inviting me to give talk Amnesty Aylesbury. This is my first time give talk about West Papua and my personal story what I been true from West Papua to here in the UK.

When I was in West Papua, I saw the military always carrying the gun every were in the market, village, shopping centre and middle of the town we file like not save event in our own village.

We don’t have any freedom to walk in the guardant, go to school and go town because we always worrying about Indonesia Military will Ripe us any time.

We saw our Peoples beaten and kill by Indonesia Military in front of our eye, we can’t do anything to help or stop them from military action if tray to help the Military will do something to us.

Only way out from this situation is free from Indonesia then we have more freedom to do anything what we like. But is very difficult to get our freedom without you, we need your help to get our justice, peace and freedom.

In West Papua if we raising our Moring Star flag, we will be in the jail 15 and 15. Two of West Papua activist Yusak Pakage and Pilep Karama raising the morning Star flag 2004. Just prayer meeting In Abepura field they been charge 15 and 15 years in the Prison.

Last Year’s Sebby Sambom and Buchtar Tabuni just peacefully Demontration supporting Internatinol Parliamentarian for West Papua launch in London 15 of October 2008. Two of them been charge 10 years.

There is no freedom to speak, no freedom to assembly, no freedom to express the political few and no freedom to Demonstration in the Public.

In West Papua only we know intimidation, tutoring, ripe, killing imprisonment, racism and disappearing committed by Indonesia Military and Police

We need you to help and put pressure on your government to look at the situation in West Papua. We know that Indonesia committed Genocide IN West Papua before to late please help us to be free.
