Papua New Guinea says it will not deport a group of refugees from the
Indonesian province of Papua, but will look after them.
Our reporter in Port Moresby, Firmin Nanol, reports that PNG's Acting Prime Minister says the government has found land in the capital and will help them resettle.

UN calls on PNG to resettle refugees

The United Nation's refugee agency has urged Papua New Guinea to resettle 100 refugees from the Indonesian province of Papua, now living in the country.

Police in the capital, Port Moresby, have threatened to evict over 100 refugees, who have been living at the Boroko police station since October.
