The Morning Star Flag raised at the Oxford Town Hall, UK

The Morning Star Flag raised at the Oxford Town Hall with Deputy Mayor of Oxford 1-December 2009.


For the past four years, the Mayor of Oxford has shown his support for the people of West Papua by raising the West Papuan flag atop the Town Hall on 1st December. This is a sign of solidarity with the Peoples of West Papua.


This year, the Deputy Mayor of Oxford Elise Benjamin held the Morning Star Flag With Benny Wenda inside the Town Hall before raising the flag itself on top of the Town Hall.


This is a first time Deputy Mayor Oxford come out and witnessed the Morning Stars Star being raised in Oxford Town Hall with members of the West Papua community in Oxford and the Netherlands lead by Mr Geradus Tomy.
