INDOctrinating children. Due to systematic deprivation, there are few school teachers in West Papua and Indonesian soldiers are often sent in their place; “Indonesianizing” Papuans.<\/p>\n

West Papuan schoolchildren are made to wear the Indonesian flag as their school uniform. They are often beaten and called, “stupid” and “primitive”. West Papuan independence leader Benny Wenda recalls how he was spat in the face by an Indonesian student. He\u00a0<\/span>washed his body three times and the next day the same student spat in his face again just because he was Papuan.<\/span><\/p>\n

We will not stand by while the Indonesian military continues to indoctrinate and kill Papuan children.<\/p>\n

We will keep up this struggle to free West Papua from Indonesia once and for all.<\/p>\n
