** YELLOWTAIL SINGLE MADE "RECORD OF THE WEEK" **
Our latest release hit the shops last week, and was made immediately made 'Record Of The Week' at two of the leading tastemaker stores, If Music and Piccadilly Records.
A stunning deep soul collaboration between New York based electronica artist Yellowtail, and UK singer Russell Morgan, 'Changes' has been turning heads wherever its played with its infectious upbeat feel. ** DAISUKE TANABE - EP NEWS **
We're putting the finishing touches to the eagerly anticipated EP from Japanese producer, Daisuke Tanabe. One of the most talented producers to come out of Japan in recent times, Daisuke's forthcoming offering is called 'After Few Layers Before', and is his first solo release in over 2 years. The EP features stunning new downtempo electronica material and will be available as a double 7" vinyl pack with original artwork.

** THE LANI SINGERS **
Fresh from their appearance at Celebrating Sanctuary Festival, native West Papuan folk act The Lani Singers will be returning to London in September for the Thames Festival as well as an appearance at Urban75's award winning Offline night. They have also been invited back to do another session on DJ Ritu's world music show on BBC Radio London later this autumn as well as a festival appearance at Musicport.
You can read a feature on The Lani Singers in this month's edition of fRoots magazine. Their debut album will be out later in the autumn on Dancing Turtle. Big thanks to everyone who has supported them along the way so far.

** JULY PODCAST **
The latest Dancing Turtle podcast in the 2008 series is available for free download through iTunes now; it's a gentle half hour mash-up of reggae, soul, electronica and folk. click here to listen

** LIVE EVENTS **
A busy month on the live front for many acts on Dancing Turtle. Paradise Found play the Big Chill House in Kings Cross, London on July 23rd at If Music's bi-monthly event, showcasing their folk tinged electronica sounds. They also play the Global Cafe in Reading too.
Taking a break from their busy touring schedule in Italy, Amycanbe return for a one off date in London in a couple of weeks time. Later this year we'll be releasing an Amycanbe remix EP featuring a selection of remixes from various producers including DJ Trax, Chilli and Yellowtail.
For anyone living in or around Bristol, throwing down a recommendation for Galvanize! at Timbuk2 club on July 31st. A benefit night for the Free West Papua Campaign, this event features a host of Bristol talent including Rob Smith (Smith & Mighty), Jon Kennedy and DJ Meaker.
