Last night London Mining Network held an event at Amnesty International UK’s office to raise awareness about the human rights and environmental issues linked to large scale mining projects, to garner support and create a plan of action. Six mines, five continents, two companies. This was the observation of John Vidal, the chair of last night’s ‘Stories of Resistance’ event.
